The North American 3 Hockey League will hold the 2013 NA3HL Showcase at Canlan Ice Sports in Romeoville, Illinois from November 22-25, 2013. The NA3HL Showcase is one of the most prestigious and well-attended events of the entire NA3HL season.
The NA3HL Showcase will take place over a four-day span, in which all 22 NA3HL teams play four regular-season games. It features all 22 NA3HL clubs crossing over to play competition outside their division. Traditionally, the NA3HL Showcase sees attendance from NCAA and ACHA scouts and coaches, as well as representatives from all 24 NAHL teams as they get a look at the high-level junior hockey talent that the NA3HL has to offer.
The event will be held at Canlan Ice Sports in Romeoville, Illinois, and will mark the first time an NA3HL league-wide event has been held at the facility. It is also home to the NA3HL's Chicago Junior Bulldogs, who are in their first season of NA3HL competition.
Canlan Ice Sports Romeoville is a three-sheet ice facility featuring industry-leading sport development programs, leagues, special events and birthday parties. It is one of the premier skating facilities in the Chicago-land area, located 45 minutes from downtown Chicago.
Canlan Ice Sports in Romeoville hosts several groups and events, which include: Travel youth hockey, junior hockey, a comprehensive youth hockey development program including Learn-to-Skate, skills and an in-house league, an adult development program, a women's hockey club, adult recreational hockey leagues, off-ice training center and figure skating.
Having a single NA3HL Showcase with all 22 teams is designed to maximize exposure for players and expected to attract thousands of fans in overall attendance, including dozens of college and junior scouts.
